Accordion Shutters offer an affordable, durable means of protection against storms. Ideal for houses, Bertha HV1 Accordian shutters are designed to secure large expanses of windows and sliding glass doors.

At Dependable Shutter and Glass, we offer Accordion Shutters:
~Bertha High Velocity 1 w/ a single point locking system
~Bertha High Velocity 1 w/ a 5-point locking system

Our shutters are built with heavy-gauge extruded aluminum blades and tracks, protecting your home against severe storms and high winds.

Additionally, each locking system can easily be opened and closed quickly in any event of a storm.

All Bertha HV 1 shutters are available in Bronze, Beige, White and Ivory.

How long does the installation take?

On average, accordion shutter installations typically vary between 1 to 3 days depending on the size of the project.

What is the general warranty on shutters?

Dependable warrants items sold pursuant to this contract against defects in material and installation for a period of ten (10) years from the date of installation except for screen mesh, painted finishes, caulking, sealants and moveable parts, including rolling wheels, which are guaranteed for five (5) years from the date of installation. Motors have a (3) year factory warranty.

Do I need a Home & Condominium Association approval letter and/or city permit?

Yes. We have an experienced office staff that will handle and facilitate your permit applications, Home & Condominium Association approval forms and city inspections.

What payment options do I have?

Cash, checks and all major credit credits including AMEX. 

Do you use subcontractors?

No, we only use our own W2 employees.

Is this a family owned, owner operated business?
